CEP Letter to Households

Please read… all Spring Hill students are eligible for FREE breakfast and lunch for the 2014-15 school year!

Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to inform you that Spring Hill Elementary has implemented a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2014-2015 school year.

What does this mean for you and your children attending the school(s) identified above?
Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students of Spring Hill Elementary, Maple Elementary, Clark County Middle/High School and Corden Porter are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2014-2015 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

This program only supports breakfast and lunch reimbursable meals, any extra entrée’s or ala carte items will still come with a price, regardless of a student’s status.
Only the qualifying schools listed above are eligible to receive free meals, siblings that go to another school will still need to submit an application for assistance. If all students go to a CEP school and you wish to apply for textbook assistance, a separate application will be available at your child’s school and will need to be completed and turned in for approval. Any applications submitted between July 1, 2014 and August 11th, will still be processed for approval.
